Record a move
- Tap the plus in the capture bar and choose Moved.
- Type the amount. A move has no sign: nothing is spent or earned.
- Pick From and To. Tap Swap if you picked them the wrong way round.
- Save. The entry shows the balance each account has after the move.
Between two currencies
Same currency, nothing to convert. Different currencies show the rate and let you type what actually landed.
Moves Pockito spots for you
- Two bank texts for the same amount
- When one account texts that money left and another that it arrived, Pockito suggests one move instead of two expenses. Confirm once and it pairs those two accounts by itself from then on.
- ATM withdrawals become a transfer
- Cash out of this account moves to your Cash wallet instead of counting as spending.
- Paying off a credit card
- Paying the card from another account counts as Moved. Clearing debt isn't spending.
Questions
Does a move change my net worth?
No. The money only changes which account it sits in.
