See where your money goes, in plain words

Insights reads your period to you: the briefing compares it with the last and says why. Alerts catch unusual spending, a price that went up and a pace that will finish over, and any category can have a limit. Insights is a board of up to 30 cards you arrange.

Questions, answered.

Every answer here is also in the Guide, with the steps.

What does the briefing tell me?

It reads your period in plain words and compares it with the last, and it says why things changed. You can ask it a follow-up.

When do I get an alert?

When spending is unusual, when a price goes up and when your pace will finish over budget. Free shows the top alert; Pro shows them all.

How do category limits work?

Give any category a limit in Insights. Its tube turns amber from the category's alert line, 80% unless you change it, and coral once the limit is reached.

Why does changing the period change every screen?

Because there is one window, not one per screen. The pill on Home sets it, and Home, Insights and your limits all read the same range. Free covers today and the current period; the longer ranges come with Pro.
