One daily number after bills and savings.

- 1
Savings come off first
The savings goal you set is put aside before anything else.
- 2
Then what you already owe
Bills and subscriptions in Repeating come off next, so they never look like spare money.
- 3
The rest, spread by day
What's left is spread over the days until your next pay day, and today counts as one of them.
- 4
It moves as you spend
Every expense you log changes the number, and Pockito says how it's going: calm, tight or over.

Questions, answered.
Every answer here is also in the Guide, with the steps.
How is safe to spend worked out?
Pockito sets your savings goal aside first, takes out the bills and subscriptions you already owe, and spreads what's left over the days until your next pay day. Today counts as one of those days.
What happens if I spend more than that?
The days left get a smaller share, and Pockito tells you plainly. If you finish over, it says by how much, and the next period starts fresh.
Does money I'm expecting count?
Money that lands on a rhythm, like a salary, a retainer or a sweep into savings, goes in Arriving. Pockito counts it as part of what you earn each month, so Home stands on your real income instead of one number you typed at setup.
Why does changing the period change every screen?
Because there is one window, not one per screen. The pill on Home sets it, and Home, Insights and your limits all read the same range. Free covers today and the current period; the longer ranges come with Pro.
