Why is an entry waiting in Needs a look?

When Pockito can't tell where a capture belongs, the capture waits in Needs a look with the reason written out. The question may be which account, which card, whether two texts are one move, or which subscription a store charge was. Answer once, and your answer becomes a line in Rules, so the same thing files itself next time.

Where to find it Home Needs a look

Home shows Needs a look while something is waiting. It's also in Settings › Money › Needs a look, even when it's empty.

What it can ask about

No account yet
Nothing said which account it came from. Pick one, or Leave without an account.
Which card is this?
A bank text named a card number no account has claimed. Pick the account once and every text with that card files itself.
Possible transfers
Two bank texts arrived apart for the same amount. Pockito thinks that's one move, not two expenses.
Possible duplicates
The same charge may have reached Pockito twice. Keep both, or remove the copy.
Store charges to name
A charge from an app store: tell Pockito which subscription it was.
Bank texts to finish
A bank text auto-track couldn't finish reading.
No category yet
It needs a category.
Rules to confirm
Pockito picked something up from your corrections. Keep it, change it, or tell it to stop.

Answer them faster

  1. Tap a row and answer the question on its card.
  2. To make an answer a rule, press and hold the row, then tap Always do this.
  3. When several rows ask the same thing, tap Select. They're picked for you, so one answer covers them all.

Questions

What happens to my answer?

It becomes a line in Rules. The same charge lands where you said from then on, without asking again. A rule changes what comes next, not what you already filed.

Will Pockito put things in Cash by accident?

No. When it can't tell which account, it asks. Nothing lands in Cash by accident.
