How do I set up auto-track for bank SMS on Android?

On Android, Pockito reads your bank's payment messages itself. Allow bank messages, tick the banks that text you, and bring in the texts already on your phone. If your bank sends app alerts instead of texts, turn on notification access and pick those apps.

Where to find it Settings Auto-Track

In the app

Three steps

  1. Pockito shows what it reads before anything else. Tap Enable bank messages, then allow SMS access when Android asks. You can turn it off any time in Settings.
  2. Pockito lists the transactional senders it found on your phone. Only the ones you tick are ever read, and you can add another sender by hand.
  3. Pick how far back to look, then review what it found. Nothing is saved until you add it. OTP, balance and promo messages are skipped. Pro imports all of them, not just the newest.

Banks that send app alerts

Some banks and wallets don't send texts, only notifications from their app. Turn on notification access in auto-track, and Android opens its notification access screen. Allow Pockito there, then pick the apps whose alerts it may read.
