What does Pockito do, and where do I start?

Pockito tells you how much you can spend today, after your bills and your savings. You add money as it moves: say it, scan it, type it, or let your bank's messages come in on their own. Every amount belongs to an account you named, and anything that repeats is counted before you see a number.

Where to find it Home

The four ideas the app is built on

The first time you open Home, Pockito shows these four ideas. They are the whole app in short.

Start with one number
Safe to spend is what is left after everything already promised: rent, bills, subscriptions. Spend it without checking anything else.
Add it any way you like
Say it, scan it, or type it. Pockito works out whether money went out, came in, or only moved between your own accounts.
Every amount has a home
Accounts, cash and gold live in Wallet. Pockito never guesses which one. When it cannot tell, it asks instead of filing it wrong.
What repeats is already counted
Bills, subscriptions and salary live here. They come off before you see safe to spend, so nothing arrives as a surprise.

A good first ten minutes

  1. Sign in, or go incognito if you'd rather not make an account.
  2. Tell Pockito what you earn and what you want to save. It works out what you can spend.
  3. Add the accounts your money lives in: a bank account, cash, a card, a mobile wallet.
  4. Turn on auto-track so payments arrive by themselves.
  5. Add your rent, bills and subscriptions in Repeating, so they come off before you spend.

Questions

Is Pockito free?

Yes. Free covers every manual entry, your full history, recaps, budget alerts and bill reminders, plus a first taste of automatic tracking, voice, scanning and the chat. Pro removes those limits and adds more accounts, categories and bills, net worth, widgets, every Insights alert, import, export and backup, and rules for bank messages.

Does Pockito connect to my bank?

No. Pockito never asks for your bank login. It reads the payment messages your bank already sends you, the receipts you scan and what you tell it.

Which phones does it run on?

iPhone with iOS 17 or later, and Android 9 or later. Both apps work the same way, in 24 languages.
