Moving from Money Lover? Bring your history with you
Export each wallet from Money Lover as a CSV, then open the file in Pockito. It matches the columns it knows and shows every row to check before anything is saved.
Step 1 · In Money Lover
Export from Money Lover
- 1In Money Lover, open Tools and choose Export CSV.
- 2Choose the wallet, Comma as the delimiter, and the period, then tap Export.
- 3Share the file to your phone's Files app; do it again for each wallet.
From Money Lover's help: exporting to CSV. The export is a copy of your records, not a Money Lover backup.
Step 2 · In Pockito
Open it in Pockito
- 1 Tap Import and pick a file.
- 2 Pockito detects the format. Nothing leaves your phone at this step.
- 3 Review: check how each account and category maps, create new ones if you need, and exclude any rows you don't want. Rows that look like something you already have are skipped by default.
- 4 Tap the import button. Pockito saves the rows and tells you if any were missing a date or an amount.
