Moving from Monarch Money? Bring your history with you
Download your transactions from Monarch on a computer, then open the CSV in Pockito. It reads the date, merchant, category, account, amount, notes and tags, and shows every row to check before anything is saved.
Step 1 · In Monarch
Export from Monarch Money
- 1Sign in to Monarch on a computer.
- 2Open Settings › Data and choose Download transactions; you get every account in one CSV file.
- 3For one account only, open it under Accounts, choose Edit, then Download transactions.
From Monarch's help: Downloading Transaction or Account History.
Step 2 · In Pockito
Open it in Pockito
- 1 Tap Import and pick a file.
- 2 Pockito detects the format. Nothing leaves your phone at this step.
- 3 Review: check how each account and category maps, create new ones if you need, and exclude any rows you don't want. Rows that look like something you already have are skipped by default.
- 4 Tap the import button. Pockito saves the rows and tells you if any were missing a date or an amount.
