By downloading, installing, or using Pockito, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the application. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Pockito.
By using Pockito, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.
2. Description of Service
Pockito is a personal expense tracking application for iOS. Features include:
- Manual entry, voice entry, and receipt scanning
- SMS automation and Apple Pay tracking
- AI-powered insights and categorization
- Budgeting and multi-currency support

3. Account Registration
- You may use Pockito without an account (anonymous mode) with limited functionality
- Creating an account enables cloud sync, backup, and full feature access
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
- You must provide accurate information
4. Subscriptions and Payments
4.1 Subscription Plans
Pockito offers a free tier with limited features and Pockito Pro as a paid subscription. Pockito Pro is available as a monthly or annual auto-renewable subscription. Current pricing is displayed in the app and on the App Store product page.
4.2 Free Trial
- New subscribers may be eligible for a free trial period (e.g., 7 days)
- At the end of the free trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription
- You will be charged the subscription price displayed at sign-up
- Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription
4.3 Billing and Renewal
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Your subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan
- Subscription prices may change. You will be notified in advance of any price increases
4.4 Managing and Cancelling Subscriptions
- You may manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your device Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to Pro features until then
- No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
4.5 Promotional Offers
We may offer promotional pricing, discount offers, or win-back offers from time to time. These offers are subject to their own terms as displayed at the time of the offer. Promotional pricing applies for the specified duration and then renews at the standard rate.
5. Acceptable Use
- You agree to use Pockito only for lawful personal finance tracking
- You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the application
- You will not use the app to store illegal or fraudulent transaction data
- You will not attempt to circumvent premium feature restrictions
6. Intellectual Property
- Pockito and all associated branding, design, and technology are owned by Pockito
- The app is licensed to you, not sold, pursuant to these Terms and Apple's Standard EULA
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works
7. User Content and Data
- You retain ownership of all financial data and content you enter into Pockito
- You grant us a limited license to process your data solely for providing the service
- You can export or delete your data at any time
- We are not responsible for the accuracy of automatically parsed transactions (SMS, receipts)
8. AI Features Disclaimer
- AI-powered insights, categorization, and financial recommendations are for informational purposes only
- AI suggestions should not be considered professional financial advice
- You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of AI-generated content
9. Limitation of Liability
- Pockito is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for any financial decisions made based on app data or AI recommendations
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, though we provide cloud backup for registered users
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pockito and its operators from claims arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
- We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms
- You may delete your account at any time through the app settings
- Upon termination, your right to use Pro features ceases immediately
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes will be resolved through appropriate legal channels in the relevant jurisdiction.
13. Changes to Terms
- We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time
- Material changes will be notified via in-app notification or email
- Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
14. Apple-Specific Terms
- These Terms are between you and Pockito, not Apple Inc.
- Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support services for the app
- In the event of any failure of the app, Apple's liability is limited to the refund of the purchase price, if applicable
- Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms
15. Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Pockito. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use this app.
